Root Canal Treatment

Helping You Keep Your Teeth

Teeth sensitive to hot and cold? Severe throbbing pain? Pain killers not helping? Limited mouth opening? Swelling? Constant bleeding? Bleeding gums? Foul smell?

Recurrent build up of bacteria and calculus can cause holes in our teeth. If too large, it can kill the nerve in the tooth. This can cause toothache, infections and a dental abscess. These can be very painful and debilitating. A severe abscess can be life threatening. Thankfully, we may be able to save your teeth through a procedure called root canal treatment. We use specialized equipment to remove the nerve before placing the root canal filling. The tooth is then usually restored with a filling or a crown.

It should a pain free experience once the local anesthetic has taken effect. Give our friendly team a call to see how we can help. We can usually see dental emergencies on the same day.
